Prologue: The Spirit of Life

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.  Romans 8:2 NASB

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of life! Wow, what a name! Think about it. Life is everything. It encompasses all aspects of health, growth, freshness, energy, vim, and vigor. There is no shadow of death operating in the Spirit of life—no sickness or disease, no weariness or fatigue, no staleness or decay—no form of death whatsoever.

The Spirit of life was present at the time of creation, breathing life into every area of the earth. Where in your life do you sense a void or see chaos? Where do you need the Holy Spirit of life to bring beauty, order, and freedom? Pray and ask Him to show you. Surrender these areas to Him in prayer, asking Him to move over them and bring order, just as He did at creation.

Been asking God to provide needed spiritual data, not new data but ‘Needed Data’. The Holy Spirit gets a bad rap. Man has replaced Him with human effort. What’s frightening is western cultrure has baffled the voice that matters. Hope this media reels us back into a much needed Truth.

Absolutely true. On Thursday as I cleaned a client’s house Holy Spirit and I had this conversation. He said, “What is most important to you?” Thinking a minute, I replied, “Beauty (not necessarily physical but in general), honesty, family, love, integrity, wholeness, Truth, You above all; I should have said You, first. Ummm, provision, wisdom…” I felt Him smile. Then He said, “Remember seek first My kingdom and My righteousness and all of these things will be added to you, then multiplied.” But, yeah… fatigue. I need refreshing in that area. It creeps up on a person. I’m fairly young, but all of a sudden, because I’m going all out on a mission God set up for me, Fatigue wants in on the ride. You are right. I need to talk to Holy Spirit about that one and get rid of the ol’ thing. Thank You. May our Lord bless you continually.
